Action Sports Medicine Champions Classic Football Weekend

Zero weekend, the first weekend high school football teams can play games, is kicked off West Texas style at Shotwell Stadium. Proceeds from the Champions Classic are used to fund college scholarships for Abilene's graduating student athletes.

August 28-30, 2008 Games
28th—Odessa Permian vs. Duncanville—7 p.m.—$7 all seats
29th—Abilene High School vs. Fort Worth Dunbar—7:30 p.m.—$8 reserved seats and $7—all others
30th—Jim Ned High School vs. Merkel High School—11 a.m.—$5 Adults and $3 Students
30th—Cooper High School vs. Fort Worth O D Wyatt—6 p.m.—$6 reserved seats and $5—all others
